Senza impedimenti. Le donne e il ministero ordinato
by Andrea GrilloIn the Catholic Church, one of the burning issues today is that of women’s access to ordained ministry. In this volume, a number of experts were asked to evaluate the arguments put forward by the magisterial documents published from 1976 to 2018.A critical examination of six areas – exegetical, patristic, juridical, ecclesiological, symbolic and systematic – constitute the necessary prerequisite for a synodal journey, capable of a meaningful discernment and a fundamental openness to a ‘beyond’. Therefore, this dynamic re-reading aims to refute and break down the prejudices that oppose women’s ordination. So that the Church, in its doctrine and in its discipline, can recognise, with serenity and prophecy, that it does not have the power to exclude women from diaconate and ordained ministry.
