It is an ironic and humorous story loosely based on Perrault’s Puss in Boots, but apart from the opening lines, it diverges from the original to become an entertaining fairy tale with references to the present day. The mixed use of colour illustrations, alternating with text and comics, makes it easy to read, especially for children. Recommended reading age: 5 years and up.
