Cristina Petit has written and illustrated more than 40 books, translated in numerous languages. She has won the Zanibelli prize and the special mention in Nati Per Leggere 2019.Illustrations by Charles Dessalines D’Orbigny: French botanist and geologist, at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris, he identified many of the flowering plant species collected and brought back to France by his brother, naturalist and South American explorer, Alcide d’Orbigny.
