Today’s educational system does not seem to encourage holistic, intuitive and imaginative thinking, but much prefers one based on verbalization. The school climate causes students great stress because of educational pressures and expectations that do not conform to their nature. Schools train mostly knowers, not thinkers. Another school is possible highlights the need to promote reflection within the school in order to ‘see’ children better and better, through the possibility of living educational experiences outside the school building; all this seen not as an escape from a demeaning experience, but as the implementation of educational projects with their own specificity and right of expression.
