Voci dal mondo verde: Le piante si raccontano

They can be as tall as skyscrapers with trunks large enough to hold an entire room, they can have flowers that are ten feet tall and leaves so wide that you could take a nap underneath them. Some of them were around in the time of the dinosaurs, and yet others have been the sources of myths and legends over time. Some are even very able hunters! If plants could talk, they would have some very amazing stories to tell us. To help us hear their voice, we have author Stefano Bordiglioni, who has translated into words the point of view of the plants. The many tales of these amazing living beings demonstrate to us their capabilities and strategies for survival, honed since the beginning of time and enlightening us as to their humanlike qualities.

Stefano Bordiglioni (1971) graduated in pedagogy in Bologna. For study or for tourism, he has visited countries around the world, including Mexico, China, Polynesia, India, Botswana, Nepal, Egypt, Morocco and others. His stories for children have been published by Einaudi Ragazzi, Einaudi Scuola, E.Elle, Emme and others.
