494. Bauhaus al femminile. 475 studentesse 11 docenti 6 donne intorno a Gropius 1 manager 1 fotografa
by Pansera AntyThis is not only a precise archival research and a historical-critical analysis of the “girls” who frequented and marked the Bauhaus with their presence: it is also a fundamental piece that is added to the mosaic of a historical theme that is still of burning current interest, such as gender inequality in the artistic-creative field. So, the author researches and portrays here all the 494 women and their – sometimes incredible – personal as well as artistic stories, removing thelesser-known from oblivion and returning their participatory and unpublished biographies. With an infographic by Mariateresa Chirico.
