Tu non sei più mio amico
Questa è una tipica storia che può accadere in una tipica savana. Anche in quella sotto casa tua. Una mattina Ippopotamo si svegliò di cattivo umore. Può capitare se a cena mangi ventisei angurie e poi fai brutti sogni. Era un splendida giornata, il sole si specchiava nel fiume e Ippopotamo uscendo dall’acqua brillò come se fosse d’oro, ma niente da fare, quel pachiderma restò di cattivo umore.
È vero, ci sono mattine così e i primi a farne le spese sono gli amici. Ma che amici sarebbero se a fine giornata non perdonassero un ippopotamo sgarbato che ha dormito male?
Un libro per i veri amici… solo un po’ più nervosi o indigesti!

Pina Irace, attrice e narratrice, da tempo alterna la sua attività teatrale alla conduzione di laboratori di teatro nelle scuole. La letteratura per l’infanzia è il filo che intreccia il suo lavoro: la scrittura, gli spettacoli di narrazione e i percorsi di educazione alla lettura. In lei convivono felicemente il blu prepotente del suo mare e la morbida malinconia della nebbia in pianura.
Saori Wago ha lavorato principalmente con un famoso studio di videogiochi giapponese dal 2012 al 2022. Nel 2023 decide di continuare esclusivamente la sua attività da freelance sviluppando libri, web design, illustrazioni e animazioni.

It happens when you eat twenty-six watermelons for dinner and then have bad dreams. The sun was reflecting on the river, and as Hippo stepped out of the water, shone like gold, but no way, the pachyderm remained in a bad mood..
It’s true, there are mornings like that, and the first to pay the price are friends.

Pina Irace, actress and narrator, has long alternated her theatrical work with leading theater workshops in schools. Children’s literature is the thread that weaves together her work: writing, storytelling performances, and reading education programs. The powerful blue of her sea and the soft melancholy of the fog on the plains coexist happily in her work.
Saori Wago worked primarily with a famous Japanese video game studio from 2012 to 2022. In 2023, she decided to continue her freelance work, developing books, web design, illustrations, and animations.
Pina Irace, actriz y narradora, compagina desde hace tiempo su actividad teatral con la dirección de talleres de teatro en centros educativos. La literatura infantil es el hilo conductor de todo su trabajo: la escritura, los espectáculos de narración y las actividades de promoción de la lectura. En ella conviven felizmente el azul intenso de su mar y la suave melancolía de la niebla de la llanura.
Saori Wago trabajó principalmente para un conocido estudio japonés de videojuegos entre 2012 y 2022. En 2023 decidió dedicarse exclusivamente a su actividad como profesional independiente, desarrollando libros, diseño web, ilustraciones y animaciones.

Lavieri è nata nel 2004 e fin dagli esordi si è proposta in settori apparentemente lontani quali la Letteratura, i libri per l’infanzia e il fumetto. Libri uniti da uno sguardo comune sul mondo e l’editoria – quello proprio dell’editore – teso a diminuire la distanza tra la letteratura, come canonicamente intesa, e le sue forme illustrate.
Dal 2005 progetta e pubblica albi illustrati freschi e spesso divertenti, con illustrazioni originali. Un progetto editoriale per bambini e adulti, un piccolo aiuto per affrontare le avventure della vita quotidiana, a prescindere da maghi e streghe e da qualsiasi fuga, non solo in senso metaforico, ma dalla realtà. L’ironia in prima linea per divertirsi, imparare ed essere sbalorditi.
Ad oggi, il catalogo comprende oltre 65 titoli tradotti in 22 lingue ed è presenza costante nelle maggiori fiere internazionali.

Lavieri was founded in 2004 and, from the very beginning, has focused on seemingly unrelated fields such as literature, children’s books, and comics. These books are united by a shared perspective on the world and publishing—the publisher’s own—aimed at bridging the gap between literature, as traditionally understood, and its illustrated forms.
Since 2005, it has designed and published fresh and often entertaining picture books, with original illustrations. A publishing project for children and adults, a little help for navigating the adventures of everyday life, regardless of wizards and witches and any escape, not just metaphorically, but from reality. Irony is at the forefront, for fun, learning, and being amazed.
To date, the catalog includes over 65 titles translated into 22 languages and is a constant presence at major international fairs.

Lavieri
Lavieri se fundó en 2004 y desde sus inicios se ha ofrecido en sectores aparentemente distantes como la literatura, los libros infantiles y los cómics. Libros unidos por una perspectiva compartida sobre el mundo y la edición —la del propio editor— tenían como objetivo reducir la brecha entre la literatura, tal como se entiende tradicionalmente, y sus formas ilustradas.
Desde 2005, diseña y publica libros ilustrados originales, novedosos y a menudo entretenidos. Un proyecto editorial para niños y adultos, una pequeña ayuda para afrontar las aventuras de la vida cotidiana, más allá de magos y brujas y de cualquier evasión, no solo metafórica, sino de la realidad. La ironía está en primer plano para divertirse, aprender y asombrarse.
Hasta la fecha, el catálogo incluye más de 65 títulos traducidos a 22 idiomas y tiene una presencia constante en las principales ferias internacionales.
