Italy guest of honour at the Lima Book Fair 2025
Italy will be the Guest of Honour at the Lima International Book Fair from 18 July to 6 August 2025.
Italy’s participation will include an exhibition, details of which will be announced in the coming weeks, and a programme of meetings, discussions and round tables with a delegation of around twelve Italian authors.
The participation project will be developed on the basis of the affinities and links that unite Italy and Peru from a historical, cultural and territorial point of view, with a reference to the 150th anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Navigation, signed in 1874 by the two countries. Through dialogue between Italian and Peruvian writers, the human, historical, scientific and cultural ties that have developed between Italy and Peru over the centuries will be recounted.
