I fili del passato

Esther is a woman from Genoa who rushes to the bedside of her father, Guido, who, now close to death, entrusts her with one final task: to return to his childhood home and retrieve two hidden objects, a suitcase and a letter. Esther obeys her father but discovers a shocking secret about her origins that will change her life forever. A secret she never knew existed, rooted in distant times and places and revealed through frequent flashbacks set against the dramatic backdrop of the Second World War. As the truth comes to light, Esther will finally be able to make a definitive choice about her love life and live peacefully, at last in harmony with herself.
