Lidia, a 23-year-old student at the Sicilian Conservatory of Palermo, lives a seemingly perfect life with a supportive family, a loving girlfriend named Dalila, and a privileged position in the city’s elegant society. As she prepares for a crucial audition with the Berliner Philharmoniker, she grapples with an inner voice revealing that she feels trapped in the wrong body. Struggling with self-harm and doubts about transitioning, she risks both her audition and her future with Dalila.
Parallel to Lidia’s story is Leo, a young man new to Prague, trying to make sense of his unfamiliar surroundings. Living in a motel and wrestling with his sexuality, Leo becomes enthralled by a drag queen named Selene. After being assaulted and hospitalized, Leo finds solace with Selene, who turns out to be Lucien. Their turbulent relationship exposes their deep-seated struggles and the impact of their past decisions. As their stories converge, Lidia and Leo’s experiences intertwine in a shared journey of transformation and self-discovery.
