Non per caso ma per curiosità
by Nassi, Laura
In Rome, between the streets of Trastevere and the suspended silence of Villa Talia on the Appian Way, an unexpected question sets in motion a search that soon turns into something far greater. The protagonist, together with his friend Enrico, finds himself drawn into a story made of enigmatic encounters, trails to follow, and secrets that seem to have been kept for far too long.
Meanwhile, in 1970s London, a young Italian woman arrives to study and escape a destiny already written. Between new discoveries and unexpected freedoms, she experiences an intense and unpredictable love, one capable of leaving a deep and lasting mark.
Two stories distant in time, destined to brush against each other. Two paths advancing through memories, intuitions, and barely hinted truths. And an invisible thread binding everything together, ready to emerge when least expected. Because some secrets never stop existing: they are only waiting for the right moment to resurface.

Nassi, Laura
Laura Nassi is forty-seven years old, holds a degree in Psychology, and lives in a small village on the edge of a natural park in the Tuscan Apennines. She loves nature, books, and sports, but she writes because, since childhood—listening to the tapping keys of her aunt’s bright red Olivetti typewriter—she has believed that writing is a true superpower: the ability to bring people, places, thoughts, and emotions to life, transforming them into stories that become real.
