Frammenti di Alma

by Incorvaia, Giuseppe
Frammenti di Alma

Alma has learned to survive in silence. A model daughter, a present friend, a woman who writes in order not to disappear. Her life flows through grey days, runs in the rain, and pages filled to remind herself that she exists. Then Leon arrives. Charismatic, attentive, capable of listening as if every word were precious. With him, everything seems to align: glances last a second longer, coincidences feel like fate, and words land exactly where they hurt most… or heal most. Leon sees her. He understands her. He chooses her. And for the first time, Alma feels truly alive.
Kisses taste like discovery, nights erase defenses, and desire intertwines with the need to be recognized. By his side, her fragilities no longer seem like wounds, but like open doors. But when someone knows you that well, they can also learn how to guide you. When attention is perfect, it can turn into control. And when you finally feel seen, you might not notice that you are beginning to disappear.
Between passion and emotional dependence, between overwhelming presence and destabilizing silences, Alma must understand whether Leon is the man helping her be reborn… or the one rewriting her boundaries in his own image.
Because some stories do not break you all at once. They empty you slowly, while you believe you are being loved.
