A me puoi dirlo
by Ceccarelli, Patrizia
A story about the power of friendship, mutual support, and the vital importance of a widespread network of care and listening to fight the violence that girls and women of all ages still face in today’s world.
Sonia is a shy, introverted girl from a foreign country who struggles to fit in. Her mother works at a flower shop, where Sonia often helps out, until one day, the shopkeeper molests her. Together with her friend Chiara, she starts attending a Youth Center, where they meet Christofer, a boy who runs a blog encouraging others to share their personal struggles. The blog becomes a turning point for Sonia, helping her find the courage to speak out about the abuse she experienced.
