This collection of thoughts and stories by very young students from 18 primary and secondary school classes is a throbbing and vital window on the world’s most serious shared experience. Yet, it is always the youngest, observing with their own eyes, who give us the truest vision: of hope and at the same time of sadness, of everyday life, originality and universal reflections. This work has the freshness of a spring wind, and makes us imagine us in their place, makes us see ourselves, children, grappling with the terrible pandemic.
