Album didattico Montessori – Attività per lo sviluppo delle abilità fino-motorie
Created with the scientific supervision of the Montessori Italy Foundation, this volume offers activities for the development of fine motor skills, specifically manual coordination, psycho-motor refinement and the manipulation of objects, in children aged 3 to 6.
The Montessori’s Educational Albums for Teachers provide teachers with a comprehensive operational guide on how to use the Montessori method in the classroom. The second volume in the series, Montessori’s educational album for Teachers – Activities for the development of fine motor skills, explains in detail how to accompany children in the acquisition of fine motor skills, such as:
- Opening and closing;
- Screwing and unscrewing;
- Expressiveness;
- Putting on and taking off;
- Putting in and taking out.
The activities listed in each of these categories improve the child’s fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The watchful observation of the adult will allow the offered activities to be continuously increased and varied, always keeping it appropriate for the interest and skills achieved by individual children.
The album is intended not only for those who have already adopted the Montessori method, but also for all teachers who want to start applying it in their classes, as well as for parents interested in getting to know it better.
