Marco Mattioli was born on 1966 in Rome. Since youth he always showed a deep interest in military history. In 1992 he entered the Italian National Association of Journalists and started working as a contributor to some important Italian magazines specialized in defence and military history. he wrote for IBN publishing 7 titles.
