Dinamico plurale fedele. Lo sviluppo della dottrina cristiana

by Maurizio Gronchi
Dinamico plurale fedele. Lo sviluppo della dottrina cristiana

This small book is the result of the Study Day held at the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Urbaniana University on November 20, 2022. The contributions of the speakers, who addressed the theme of the Development of Christian Doctrine from biblical (F. Bianchini), patristic (A. Genovese), theological (M. Bracci), and moral (C. Zuccaro) perspectives, are supplemented by the essay ‘A mo’ di cornice…’ (P.A. Muroni), which illustrates the reason for the image on the cover, where Raphael Sanzio’s ‘Disputation of the Sacrament’ appears as an example of a discussion among theologians on Eucharistic doctrine with its liturgical implications, and an introductory essay on the thought of Saint John Henry Newman (H. Geissler). In the opening (M. Gronchi) and the concluding remarks (G. Ancona), the contours of the process of understanding revelation—dynamic, plural, faithful—which will only conclude in the eschatological vision, as also recalled by Pope Francis in Amoris Laetitia, are defined.
