DNA chef
by Lepri, Roberta
Guido Nocentini knows he is destined to become a great chef: his grandfather Giovanni, a Florentine chef confined to the Tremiti during fascism, is still remembered by the islanders for an exceptional dish, tagliatelle with sea urchin sauce, a delight that his grandson also offers in a renowned London restaurant. Coincidence or DNA? To carry out his father’s last wishes Guido returns to San Domino, as the first lockdown is about to hit the island. A surprising past awaits him.
