Eredità colpevole
by Zandel, Diego
Journalist and writer Guido Lednaz, son of Fiuman refugees, takes an interest in the murder of Judge La Spina, claimed by an extreme rightwing group for the man’s contribution to the acquittal of the Titine war criminal Josip Strčić (a character loosely based on Oskar Piškulić, head of Tito’s political police, who was responsible for the massacres in the foibe). Following various investigative leads and stories from his past, Lednaz retraces one of the bloodiest pages in history by presenting a summary of the atrocities of World War II and the subsequent
exodus of an entire population. A gripping investigation, with tinges of noir, between Rome and Trieste, which will lead the protagonist to a dramatic truth.
