Karl, with his handlebar mustache and upturned nose, gets lost in his floral fantasies while the reader cannot help but admire the beauty of the smallest details and the patience of the eye that captured them.
Anna Benotto lives in Turin, but was born and raised in the hills of Roero, in Piedmont. A restorer by training, after years dedicated to the conservation of works of art, she picks up her pencils again to write and draw her first illustrated book, Viaggi. In the plot of her hatchings, imaginary characters and real subjects coexist, in a creative dance of instinct and meticulousness.

安娜·贝诺托（Anna Benotto）在皮埃蒙特大区罗埃罗地区的丘陵地带出生、长大，现居都灵。
她受过艺术品修复方面的专业训练，曾多年从事艺术作品保护与修复工作。后来，她重新拿起铅笔，创作并绘制自己的第一本绘本《旅行》（Viaggi）。
在她细腻的勾勒下，虚构的人物与真实的物品彼此交织，就像一场充满创造力的舞蹈。
