Fabrizio Altieri è nato e vive a Pisa. Dopo il diploma di liceo classico, si è laureato in Ingegneria meccanica e attualmente insegna in un istituto professionale. Ha pubblicato molti libri per ragazzi e per adulti e gira l’Italia per incontrare i suoi lettori nelle scuole e ovunque lo chiamino. Ama scrivere gialli perché così può colpire i malvagi e farli andare in prigione. Loro, infatti, non li incontra mai per strada. Dopo Omicidio in ricetta (2023), questo è il secondo romanzo che pubblica per Pelledoca editore.

May 1937. During the the airship Hindenburg’s last flight to the USA, Abraham Kaufmann, a wealthy German jewellery dealer, is murdered. There are several suspects: Sieglinde Schwarz, the ex-girlfriend abandoned at the altar; Marlene Streller, an ambitious and ruthless young social climber; Verno Stratenberg, Kaufmann’s competitor jeweller; Arno Schreiber, a Nazi representative and SS captain; and Franz Genoveffi, Kaufmann’s business partner. Astrid and Olmo, two children sent by their families to the United States to visit relatives, begin investigating alongside the brilliant journalist Cassandra Eastwood, but uncovering the truth may prove very dangerous. Fabrizio Altieri was born and lives in Pisa. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and currently teaches at a high school. He has published many books for children and adults and travels around Italy to meet his readers in schools and anywhere his readers call him to. He loves writing detective stories so that he can catch the bad guys and lock them in prison. In fact, he never meets them on the street. After Omicidio in ricetta (Murder in the Recipe) (2023), this is the second novel he has published for Pelledoca editore.
