Geppe il brigante

by Garzaro Stefano
Geppe il brigante

Geppe, fifteen years old, peasant serf in the Langhe hills, comes down for the first time to Turin, the capital. We are in 1864. The enthusiasm for the big city falls when Geppe gets lost and ends up among the brigands. Together with Susanna, also in search of redemption, he will break with the past. It will be a journey full of adventure, discovery, love, growth, betrayal, where there won’t even be time for the hunt of a hidden treasure. A great adventure, a wide-ranging historical and educa- tional novel, which involves universal themes such as friendship, love, the search for ethical boundaries and values to believe in.
