Inspired by Arthur Schnitzler’s eponymous play, Merry-Go-Round is a cycle of ten episodes, each featuring two teen protagonists, one of whom will reappear in the following, episode and so on. The characters are typical teens, looking for love and trying to figure out their place in the world: they stumble, fall, and pick themselves back up while arguing, telling fibs, and revealing the most secret sides of themselves. Missed appointments, love triangles, secret stories, parties, suspected pregnancies: here are the intensely-felt everyday lives of a group of 16-yearolds, depicted with delicacy and thoughtfulness.
