Iceland: Residency Programme for Translators
First edition of the Premio Residenze Calvino – Iceland, a residency programme for translators, writers on the theme of Calvino’s work and thought, promoted by the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Italian Cultural Institute in Oslo, with the Gröndalshús House of Literature in Reykjavík.
The winner/winner – selected by a Commission – will be offered the opportunity to spend a one-month period in Reykjavík (1 to 30 September 2024), for an educational and professional experience on Calvino’s work and thought, in contact with the Icelandic cultural and artistic environment.
At the end of the stay, the winner will organise a final event in agreement with the host venue.
