Lisbon: first complete translation into Portuguese of Leopardi’s Canti

On 28 October 2026, at 6.30 pm at the Italian Cultural Institute in Lisbon, the first complete Portuguese version of Giacomo Leopardi’s Canti (published by Assirio & Alvim) will be presented. Speakers will include Jorge Vaz de Carvalho, the translator of the work, and Carlo Arrigoni, lecturer in Italian literature at the University of Lisbon.
