Malta Book Festival 2024. Selection for Italian Publishers and Book Shops

In view of the Malta Book Festival 2024 – the national book and publishing fair organised by the National Book Council at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre from 6 to 10 November 2024 – for the third consecutive year the Italian Cultural Institute in Valletta invites Italian publishers and bookshops to exhibit and sell their books to the Maltese public at its stand.

The call for entries is open to Italian bookshops and publishing houses (publishing houses that publish books for a fee are excluded).

The Italian Cultural Institute of Malta offers booksellers and publishers:

– A free space to exhibit and sell their products: Italian is widely spoken in Malta and the demand for books in Italian is very high, but only minimally covered by the local market;

– The possibility, at the end of the festival, to entrust any unsold books to the Institute, which will take care of the sale of the remaining copies;

– The organisation of meetings and presentations within the festival with authors to be invited at the Institute’s expense.
