‘Rete per la Parità’ Literary Prize

Rete per la Parità’ Literary Prize for unpublished monographs on women’s history, gender studies and equal opportunities.

With a view to promoting and raising the profile of historical research on women, the ‘Rete per la Parità’ Literary Prize is hereby announced. It is open to unpublished monographs that contribute to the development of gender studies, women’s history and equal opportunities.

The initiative is organised in collaboration with the ‘Donne Fedi Culture’ series, published by Edizioni di Storia e Letteratura, with the aim of supporting the dissemination of original research characterised by rigorous academic standards, capable of stimulating and enriching contemporary academic and cultural debate.

Unpublished historical monographs written in Italian are sought; these must be based on original research and structured in accordance with academic standards (with a complete critical apparatus).

Works derived from doctoral or master’s theses are eligible, provided they have been appropriately reworked into the form of a scholarly volume. The works must not be simultaneously submitted to other competitions or under consideration by other publishers.

The competition is open to scholars, both Italian and foreign, who meet the eligibility criteria by the closing date of the call for entries.
