The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation with the Campiello Literature Prize
For the first time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is collaborating with the Campiello Literature Prize. The Farnesina and the Campiello Foundation have signed an agreement that provides for the participation of five members chosen by MAECI for the 59th edition, who will join the Jury of Three Hundred Readers called to vote, anonymously, on the five titles chosen by the Jury of Literature. Other forms of collaboration, always aimed at promoting the Italian language and publishing in the world, are being studied between MAECI and the Foundation, thanks to the network of Italian Cultural Institutes and the portals ITALIANA and newitalianbooks. On 28 May 2021 the Campiello Jury of Literature will meet to select the five finalists and announce the Opera Prima Prize.
