Vienna : Festival of Italian Literature

The third edition of the Festival of Italian Literature in Vienna will take place at the Odeon Theatre from 1 to 3 March 2024.

An intense weekend with authors from Italy to tell the story of contemporary Italian literature through different genres and languages, from the essay to the novel, from the graphic novel to the detective story to the fantastic worlds of children’s books.

This year’s festival authors are (in order of appearance) Serena Dandini, Alessandro Barbero, Dacia Maraini, Benedetta Tobagi, Domenico Dara, Fabio Genovesi, Manuele Fior, Stefano Mancuso, Silvia D’Achille, Davide Morosinotto and Gianrico Carofiglio. A special event will be dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of La Storia by Elsa Morante.
