Il conflitto irrisolto. Israele e Palestinesi
by Polieri PietroThis volume aims to investigate certain aspects related to the current escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: the relationship between the signing of the historic Abraham Accords in 2020 and the resurgence of Hamas violence; the potential Islamization of the West in relation to and as a result of the support from democratic public squares, both European and otherwise, for the Palestinian cause; and the need to clarify how Hamas should be understood, whether as a legitimately resistant political formation or as an armed terrorist group. The core of the text is an interpretation of anti-Zionism, which is misaligned with the current mode of understanding.
