The human ego is the great spiritual being protagonist of this essay that aspires to the understanding of the nature, activity and manifestation of the human entity. An excursus that comes from the intellectual elaboration followed by the author thanks to the knowledge of the science of the spirit of Dr. Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925), founder of anthroposophy. The intent is to make a complex issue accessible to everyone, removing the veils that usually surround and hide one\’s ego; an investigation into its existence, its origin and truth. «This mystery of the I remains unknown to every man on Earth. Only a free and conscious will to self-knowledge can lead to its solution.»
