Vera is not able to stay out of trouble. Her twin sister Celeste is in Japan and she has no one to help her understand the strange change in her best friend from university, Orfeo. She is very attached to Orfeo even though she is dating Massimo and in fact, their relationship is ambiguous. Orfeo has the best academic performance in their entire division, an abundance of natural charisma, and a very deep, dark stare. He has just lost his brother but still this would not explain the strange events that he seems to be involved in. One day Vera finds a message on his phone from a mysterious app: the hidden meaning of life. What is it all about? Vera, the ironic nerd from Gemelle, discovers that only she can solve the mystery and that once again, the life of someone she loves depends on it.
