Incudini & farfalle

by Petruzzella, Marco
Incudini & farfalle

Mobile poetry, barely crystallized. At the ripe time of rediscovering his never-ending poetic quest, Petruzzella finds himself stripped bare, freed from any lingering egotism. Disenchanted, after distancing himself from his own identity in the previous collection, he suddenly discovers that demons, the deepest anxieties, and paralyzing fears are also, and above all, inexorably amusing, weightless, ephemeral. At times, even comical. The relentless interplay of drama and irony becomes the lens through which our era is described. Hence the title Incudini & Farfalle (Anvils & Butterflies). Salvific, exorcising, and deeply relevant.
