Inferno freddo

Upstream from the Montagna Regina ski resort, at closing time, three hooded men dressed in black riddle the refuge’s empty restaurant with bullets. They warn the mayor of Sottomontagna that they will trigger an avalanche.
By chance, they encounter Theodora and Alberto, two thirteen-year-olds, and take them with them on snowmobiles, at night, to a cabin submerged in snow.
Downstream, the mayor, the police and a group of villagers try to understand what is happening. Rudi and Giulia, the brother and sister of the kidnapped children, investigate and follow a trail that will lead them close to the truth. But the salvation of Theo and Alberto will depend above all on the siblings and will hang on the wisdom and legs of an old mountain man and his dog.
