Blu, un'altra storia di Barbablù
Tutte le fiabe sono inquietanti, molte mettono paura. Barbablù è di certo una delle più potenti: una macchia di sangue su una chiave d’oro, le mogli uccise e appese come mantelli ai ganci nella segreta, e tutto ciò, come succede nelle fiabe, senza che ne sappiamo il perché. Questa riscrittura cerca proprio di dar conto delle ragioni che inducono il protagonista a fare quello che fa. Almeno finché non entra in scena Blu, l’ultima moglie, la sola destinata a sopravvivere contando sulle proprie forze, sull’acume, sulla rapidità di pensiero e d’azione, sulla capacità di dedurre e collegare gli indizi. Blu e Barbablù giocano al gatto e al topo per tutta la storia: soltanto che non si sa chi sia il gatto e chi sia il topo.

Beatrice Masini è nata a Milano. Ha cominciato a scrivere da bambina, ha fatto la giornalista in due quotidiani (“Il Giornale” e “La Voce”) e poi si è dedicata al mondo dell’editoria in tante forme: traduttrice, editor, scrittrice. Ma non si smette mai di essere giornalisti, e ancora oggi è prima di tutto la curiosità e il desiderio di saperne di più che la guida quando comincia a raccontare una storia per iscritto. Le piace scrivere per tutte le età, e sono le storie a decidere dove portarla: verso gli albi per bambini piccoli, i romanzi per bambini e ragazzi, i romanzi per adulti. La riscrittura delle storie antiche è una sua passione ricorrente, perché ridare voce – una voce diversa – a personaggi noti dentro vicende note di cui però non si sa mai proprio tutto è una grande sfida. L’ha fatto con le donne della Bibbia e del mondo greco, con qualche poetessa che ama molto, e con le fiabe.
Virginia Mori, nata a Cattolica, si è diplomata alla Scuola di Cinema d’Animazione e Illustrazione di Urbino. Vincitrice del concorso “Sentieri Selvaggi” e del premio SRG SSR Idée Suisse all’Annecy International Project, ha partecipato alla rassegna Filmmakers al Chiostro di Pordenone, dove ha vinto il premio qualità FriulAdria.
Blue, a different story of Bluebeard
All fairy tales are disturbing, and most are scary. For sure Bluebeard is one of the most frightful: a blood spot on a gold key, wives murdered and hung in the dungeon like cloaks on hooks. And all this happens without knowing why. This rewrite precisely attempts to explain the protagonist’s motives. Al least until Blue shows up. Blue is the last wife, the only one destined to survive counting on her own strength, on her perspicacity, on her quick thinking and promptness, on her ability to deduce and connect the dots. Blue and Bluebeard play cat and mouse throughout the story. However, we don’t know who the cat is and who the mouse is.

Beatrice Masini has been writing since her childhood and previously worked as a journalist. She moved on to the publishing industry as a translator, editor, and author. She writes for readers of all ages. The rewrite of ancient stories is one of her recurring passions because to give again a voice – a different voice – to well-known characters is a big challenge.
Virginia Mori graduated from the School of Animation Film and Illustration in Urbino, won the Sentieri Selvaggi competition and the SRG SSR Idée Suisse Prize at the Annecy International Project. She took part in the FilmMakers festival at the Chiostro of Pordenone, where she won the FriulAdria Quality Award.

比阿特丽切·马西尼（Beatrice Masini）出生于米兰，从小就开始写作，曾在两家报社担任记者（《日报》(Il Giornale)和《声音》（La Voce）），后来以多种身份在出版行业工作：译者、编辑、作者。但记者这一身份，并没有从她身上消失。直到今天，当她开始动笔讲述一个故事时，引导她的依然还是那份好奇，以及对了解更多东西的渴望。她喜欢为各个年龄段的读者写作，而最终，替她决定创作方向的往往是故事本身：有时是面向低龄儿童的绘本，有时是儿童与青少年小说，有时则是成人小说。改编过去的老故事是她反复探索的创作主题。对她而言，让那些熟悉的人物重新发出声音——而且是不同的声音，是一项极具挑战性的工作，因为即使是我们熟悉的故事，也从来不可能让我们真正知道全部真相。她曾以这种方式重新描写《圣经》和古希腊世界中的女性人物，也曾改写一些她非常喜爱的女诗人的故事，及各种童话。
弗吉尼娅·莫里（Virginia Mori,）出生于卡托利卡市，毕业于乌尔比诺电影动画与插画学院。她曾荣获“野径”（Sentieri Selvaggi）竞赛冠军，以及安纳西国际项目（Annecy International Project）的瑞士创意奖。此外，她还参加了波代诺内的“回廊电影人”（Filmmakers al Chiostro di Pordenone）展映活动，并荣获弗留利·阿德里亚品质奖（il premio qualità FriulAdria）。
