Due occhi spalancati spuntano da una massa informe di schiuma che sembra panna montata. Cosa sarà? Un bambino? Un pasticcino? E se fosse qualcos’altro?
Un libro per solleticare l’immaginazione, per esplorare tutti i mondi possibili, soprattutto quelli più impensati. Un gioco per riflettere sulla ricchezza della propria identità.
Bruno Zocca è nato a Verona, ha studiato illustrazione e grafica all’ISIA di Urbino, ora vive e lavora a Bologna. Nel 2014 i suoi lavori sono stati selezionati alla Mostra degli Illustratori della Fiera del Libro per Ragazzi di Bologna, dove ha vinto l’Ars In Fabula Grant Award. Ha illustrato copertine di libri e ha contribuito con illustrazioni al New York Times.
Dal 2016 fa parte del collettivo artistico sperimentale Ufficio Misteri.

“I am a child. Am a child? What if I were something different?” So begins this whimsical exploration of a boy who lets his imagination run wild. If Max left his bedroom to discover the Wild Things, the young narrator in this story breaks out of his bathroom to encounter himself as he tries on new and different identities.
Bruno Zocca was born in Verona, studied illustration and graphics at ISIA in Urbino, and now lives and works in Bologna. In 2014, his works were selected at the Illustrators Exhibition of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, where he won the Ars In Fabula Grant Award. He has illustrated book covers and contributed illustrations to the New York Times. Since 2016, he has been part of the experimental art collective Ufficio Misteri.

Phileas Fogg è un’agenzia letteraria che rappresenta editori indipendenti di libri illustrati e libri per ragazzi, oltre a progetti selezionati di artisti pluripremiati provenienti da tutto il mondo.
