Mid-1990s. Two Italian friends reach Cuba to turn a disused factory into a discotheque. But one of them, Fulvio- a shallow playboy and hopeless Peter Pan – ends up falling madly in love with Juanita, a provocative Cuban woman who, drawn to magical Havana, wants to leave her small fishing village. The innocent gift of a washing machine turns into a kind of evil totem and alters the serene and peaceful life of the place. But at the same time, during an adventurous journey through the lush Cuban jungle, it will foster the inner growth of Fulvio and Juanita herself, who will completely revise their perspectives.
