La maledizione di Rasputin
by Kraisky, Sergio
From the October Revolution to Nazism, through private tragedies and dreams of redemption, the destinies of Pavel Krotovsky and Sigrid Schmidt, a Russian Jew and a German Jewess, intertwine after wandering through the Soviet Union, Italy, Germany, Romania, Afghanistan and Brazil. A love story marked by the abuses of dictatorships and the cynicism of democracies. Until they all meet again, alive and dead, exchanging accusations, regrets and forgiveness until the end of time. La Maledizione di Rasputin (The curse of Rasputin), whose shadow looms over the history of the past century as well as the present, marks the life stories of three generations in this historical family saga.
