Piticchio, Mario
Mario Piticchio was born in Ramacca, in the Plain of Catania, in 1946, and lives in Gravina di Catania with his family. He taught in middle school for many years, during which he developed a passion for theatre, writing several plays in dialect that were later performed. Since retiring, he has devoted himself more consistently to literature, writing poetry collections, novels, and numerous children’s fairy tales.
