L’altro Gesù. Le radici dell’intolleranza

Christ and Barabbas, Yah’u’shua bar Abbâ and Yah’u’shua bar Yohsifyàh. Two men with the same name cross paths by chance in the damp cells of the Antonia Fortress where Barabbas and two other latrones, Gestas and Dismas, are imprisoned after the recent city riots. Their meeting irrevocably changes the course of history and what seemed like an already sealed destiny of death is overturned by unsuspected political intrigues, pawns moving in the shadows, shrewd power games that operate so that no one escapes the just punishment that belongs to them. A work which, presenting itself as an interweaving of historical essay and novel, explores the story of a liberation and a condemnation, of a Jesus and another Jesus, of the fatal choice that led to the rooting of that profound intolerance that still manifests itself indelible in contemporary history.
