L’anima del pino silvestre

by Cavallaro, Noemi
L’anima del pino silvestre

Edith is a young mother who, speaking to her newborn daughter, retraces the story of her adolescence. Thus begins the tale of her meeting Freddie and his friends, and the beginning of their relationship. For both of them, it is a teenage love, full of inexperience and firsts, but also marked by jealousy, arguments, and the misunderstandings typical of their age.

Behind the appearance of a confident young athlete, Freddie hides a more fragile side, shaped by difficulties within his family, and Edith is able to perceive this sensitive side of him. However, due to unexpected problems, the relationship becomes increasingly difficult, and both must confront their desires and fears, ultimately deciding whether they must give up on each other forever.
