Le orme di papà

by Farina Lorenza, Farina Lorenza, Farina Lorenza
Le orme di papà

It is evening, out it snows and Arturo waits for his dad to come back home. Time goes by, but dad does not get back. Mam suggests to the worried child to write his Christmas letter while waiting for him. Page after page, the emotion tension gets higher, until, finally, the dad´s footprints appear on the snow.

This is a story to dispel the fear of separation, to tell how dads and mams come always back home and that their footprints cannot get lost, also in the deepest snow. A book with words and images that can give a voice to deepest emotions, can mix up anxieties and love, fears and laughs, and finally gives us a story with an almost “ancient” flavour, as marvellous as the stories of yesteryear. With no so evident morale, without dragons or heroes, but with that shining hope that only children can bring.
