Nuccio thinks he\’s got used to the abuses of Marcello. But then, a day, he can\’t take it anymore, he reacts. A fist, then another, with his two friends to help him out. And Marcello is on the ground. Nuccio never asked his parents for help against the bully. And how could he? His father has a sick heart, he is depressed and his mother has to support him in body and soul. Nuccio has to protect his parents. But this mistake will turn his father destiny, which seemed doomed, upside down, and throw a new light into the life of the family. A light on which looms a black shadow, a shadow of a guilt from which Nuccio does not know if he can ever redeem himself. A story on the complexity of life and how sometimes in bad things, good thing are hidden.

Ferrara Antonio

Antonio Ferrara born in 1957 in Portici, where he lived untile the age of 20 years old.  He now lives in Novara where he worked as an educator in a housing community. He is convinced that writing, reading and illustration constitute a disruptive and profitable means of making sentimental education, prevention of discomfort. He received several awards, including the «Premio Andersen», in 2012 for the best book over 15 years of age with Ero cattivo (San Paolo).
