This book is a walk in the woods, that starts following a fox. Then we meet two hares, then three tortoises, four badgers, and so on up to ten butterflies. At sunset, it is time to go back home and meet backwards all the animals that in the meantime have gone to sleep. But have they all? In this board book, so many things happen, the animals and their quantity, the time of the day, the seasons… little ones are encouraged to pore over and look for the fox hiding on every page.
Lucia Tameni is a teacher and author of fairy tales, rhyming fables and songs for children. She has also written for Giovanelli edizioni and Progetti Sonori.Illustrated by Cristina Petit: writer and illustrator of more than 40 books, translated in numerous languages. She has won the Zanibelli prize and the special mention in Nati Per Leggere 2019.
