Graduated in foreign languages and literature at the University of Bologna where she attended the Course in Didactics of Modern Languages (DILM). Since 1995 she has been teaching Italian L2 at Cultura Italiana in Bologna and since 2003 she has been Head of Ditals Training Courses. Also on behalf of Cultura Italiana she was a teacher and coordinator of the Italian language survival courses at Johns Hopkins University in Bologna.
