The history of space exploration? An epic challenge, studded with heroic gestures, dreams and … some \’little\’ tragedies. All fake? Not really, but this vision omits or relegates to the background the missions dotted with unexpected events, errors and tragicomic situations, useful for fully understanding the process of exploring space. The conquest of space, in fact, required (and requires) a huge collective effort to achieve goals that were unthinkable until recently. We could describe it as a route dotted with unpredictable difficulties. A few practical examples: how to make astronauts eat and drink or go to the bathroom? How to wake them up in the morning? But above all, when is it morning? Are you sure that, once they go out for a spacewalk, they will know how to get back? What if they land by mistake among the polar bears on their return from the mission? A laser gun for the U.F.O. don\’t we want to give it to him?
