Senza macchia, senza paura
by Cozzi, Stefano
Spain, 11th century. A land of war, faith, and men destined to become legend. Lorenzo Della Torre is just a boy when he leaves Northern Italy to pursue his dream of knighthood. He believes in honor, heroic deeds, and the tales that turn men into myths. But the journey to Spain will take him far beyond anything he imagined.
In the retinue of an enigmatic knight, amid hidden intrigues and ancient secrets, Lorenzo is drawn into a world where nothing is as it seems. A world in which power moves in the shadows and every choice can alter the fate of entire kingdoms. When he meets the legendary Cid Campeador, he realizes that the true test is not becoming a knight… but remaining one.
Through battles, fragile alliances, and bonds put to the test, Lorenzo must discover who he truly is—and how much he is willing to lose to stay faithful to what he believes.
A gripping and intense historical novel that dismantles the myth of chivalry and rebuilds it in its most authentic form: one shaped by fear, choices, and consequences. Because there are no heroes without wounds.
