A group of kids in late 19th century Paris, tickets to a circus and the magic of something special about to happen.
Jean is holding up red tickets to a show! A strange gentleman in a hat gave them to him: the show will only be in town for today, then it will move on. It will be a spectacular show! Kids run through the streets of Paris, anticipation and excitement building up, while fantastic animals start appearing on the rooftops. What they will find, however, will leave them speechless. Because sometimes wonder lies in the smallest things, so small that if you don’t stop and look very carefully, you risk missing it and moving on.

Raineri, Chiara
Chiara Raineri graduated in scenography at the Accademia Nazionale di Brera and specialized at the International School of Illustration in Sarmede and at the Ars in Fabula School of Illustration in Macerata. She teaches illustration at the Palladio Design Institute in Verona. Her illustrations were selected for the “Il bambino spettacolo” competition promoted by the Bologna Children’s Book Fair and with Piccola pantera she won the Nati per Leggere Award.
