Finally a book about the long history of instruments that enabled men throughout centuries to talk with animals, or, at least, with the most talkative ones. Now it is so easy to communicate with our animals! But, maybe, the most important thing is having the desire to meet each others.

Sergio Olivotti (Loano, 1970), designer and illustrator, taught Visual Communication at Politecnico di Milano. Inventor of the Italian Poster Biennial, he organized exhibitions and workshops that were appreciated both in Italy and abroad. His awards include a Graphis Competition Gold Award and the A.D.C.I. Award of the Association for Chinese and Italian Design.
