Digital showcase in Spanish: call for applications

newitalianbooks is offering Italian agents and publishers a new showcase in Spanish to coincide with the upcoming edition of the Guadalajara Book Fair, where Italy will be the guest of honour.

newitalianbooks, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Treccani, and the Centre for Books and Reading of the Ministry of Culture, and in collaboration with the AIE (Italian Publishers Association), will set up a digital showcase in Spanish dedicated to new Italian books across all genres (fiction, non-fiction and miscellaneous, children’s books, comics).

The initiative is primarily (but not exclusively) aimed at

· new books by Italian authors from publishers and literary agents exhibiting in the Italian collective section at the Fair;

· titles by Italian authors invited to take part in the Fair that have not yet been translated into Spanish.

The showcase will be made available online on newitalianbooks to coincide with the 40^th edition of the Guadalajara International Book Fair (28 November–6 December 2026).

Italian publishers and literary agencies wishing to take advantage of this opportunity (entirely free of charge) must confirm their participation and send the book details in WORD format to: redazione@newitalianbooks.it no later than 11.00 p.m. on July 3, 2026, strictly adhering to the procedures set out in the CALL FOR ENTRIES.
